Had a really great day yesterday! Had a good long chat with Yuming on the phone in the afternoon, had quite a lot of studying done as well. Then, in the evening, had dinner at Akbar's (it's this Indian curry place with very good ambience and food!) with Audrey, Andrew and Florence.

The restaurant serves free ice-cream to anyone having his/her birthday on that day. The ice-cream is brought out to the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song, with two sparklers on the ice-cream as candles! So, the four of us decided to get a free ice-cream, and decided that it would be Andrew's birthday yesterday! So, Andrew is supposed to go to the toilet while we tell the waiter that it was Andrew's birthday and the waitor would serve the ice-cream at the end of dinner. Audrey was the one who did all the talking and she's really natural! "Erm, we didn't know that you do birthdays here. It's our friend's birthday today. Do you think you could surprise him with a cup of ice-cream for him later? Please do not tell him about this plan."

Hai... anyway, there were 5 or 6 people having birhtdays yesterday... We really wonder if they are really having their brithdays or whether they are just like us, wanting to get free ice-cream... Who says that Singaporeans are the only kiasu people!?

Have a really good day =) Started out with a nice phone call with Yuming, then with my mum. Had quality study time. Went to Lucky Dragon to have Dim Sum with Audrey, Ruth and Hiang Teck, then went for the church service... Got to chat with quite a few people there...

Vincent and Ruth going to give me pre-encounter lessons on Thursday... Looking forward to it... (Actually I have no idea what pre-encounter lessons are, but still looking forward to it...) Think I might just want to join FCBC (Faith Community Baptist Church) when I go back to Singapore. Think LCCC (Leeds Chinese Christian Church) and FCBC are doing about the same stuff cos Wee Leon is from FCBC... Also, there is a FCBC branch near my home...

Then, Andrew made laksa and chocolate cake for dinner. Both Florence and Audrey came over. Andrey made a stawberry cake as well... Well, the two of them have finished exams liao... What to do... Anyway, dinner is really good!

Me and Florence are like talking about post-exams plans already... like going to castleford and having sleepovers at her place... And Florence complaining all the time that there is nothing to do in England except to eat!!!
