Attended Gateway Cities Youth Convention last weekend. It's totally amazing... God spoke to me so much...

It's a convention whereby the gateway cities in Asia are invited to come and give a presentation, on the needs of their cities, and how it's like to be a Christian in that city. God just showed me how fortunate I am to be in Singapore, where i'm not persecuted for being a Christian, not persecuted for sharing Christ with my friends, that I have many resources.

Malaysia was the last country to present. Their presentation totally threw us off! They are so creative and humourous and yet manage to get the message across! The most touching part is that at the end of their presentation, instead of us praying for them, they prayed for all the Singaporean delegates. As each one of them (abt 30-40) said a short blessing "I bless Singapore with love, kindness. I bless Singapore with..." for us, many of the Singaporeans just teared and teared. The tears just flowed, for some un-explainable reason. And they ended of with "Malaysia Loves Singapore!"

Later, as I was in the toilet, i heard this still voice from God saying "Singapore is no longer unwanted..." I guess, while the Malaysians were praying for us, God began a healing a wound in our hearts that we weren't even aware of. Though, we were not born when Singapore got separarted from Malaysia, we have all been taught about the separation and seen the video clip which showed LKY tearing after the separation and we learned about how, Singapore, as a small nation had to fight for her survival and fend for herself and all that...

So, i guess deep in our hearts, we've been hurt by the separation, one way or the other... That's explains why the tears flowed uncontrollably when the Malaysian delegates blessed us.
