Guess what??? I've just had another meeting with my proj sup. Not that I'm really inspired... just that he has made very good points again... sigh... much to think about, sort of philosophical... much to grow into... you must be getting bored of reading all the philosophical parts...

It's about Independence again... Independence from the teacher doesn't mean dependence on books or friends or anythign other things... It means total independence (But I sense that total independence mean total dependence on God)... Of course we still need to get the knowledge from somewhere, he meant the processing of what we read... our own ideas and opinions, after having digest the knowledge. Seems like most arts students would have no problem doing it since they have to write so many essays with their own ideas and opinions...

He gave an example, after attending a lesson by Lecturer A, students can automatically give opinions about A, without having to read what others write about A.

This sort of gave insight to what SA said sometime ago... All of us will be like the trunks in the xxx tree (dun remember name of tree. it's the type of tree which roots will grow from the banches. these roots will reach the ground and form roots underground. then the parts that are not underground will grow thicker, to become sub-trunks to the tree), united but independent.

I also sense that when I minister to or pray for people, I need to stop doing it in the way others have done to me, but to do it independent of them, but dependent on the HS, so that the spirit can flow.

Need to stop doing things the way I've seen others do it, but to do it His way.
